The daily portions for your dog are calculated using an algorithm that we have developed in collaboration with a canine nutritionist. All you need to do is fill out our small form with your dog’s information (weight, breed, age, etc.) to receive a 100% personalized menu that corresponds to their nutritional and energy needs, along with the price of your plan. You’ll then have the option to place an order to test your plan for 15 days and start your dog’s dietary transition. It’s important to note that we use theoretical calculations to determine your animal’s portions, but we consistently refine this data to meet each dog’s specific needs. If you want to increase or decrease the portions, feel free to let us know. You also have the option to modify your animal’s data at any time from your customer account. We advise against it! Did you know that more than 50% of homemade diets prepared by owners are not properly balanced? Even if you think you’re doing it right, your animal’s metabolism is not the same as yours as a human being. So, be careful of nutritional deficiencies (vitamins and minerals) that you might cause by cooking for your dog. A combination of steak + rice + beans is not enough; it’s important to consider the specific nutritional needs of each dog to avoid long-term problems. To ensure the best possible transition from their previous diet, we accompany you for 10 days with an easy-to-implement program. Why a transition period? Simply to prevent potential digestive problems that may occur with a too abrupt change in diet. Typically, we recommend a dietary transition like this: Day 1 & 2: 15% Kinpop
The calorie content can significantly vary depending on each type of food (meat, vegetables, etc.). Additionally, we often prepare dishes with moist ingredients, which tend to be a bit heavier on the scale. With our recipes, your dog will likely have a larger quantity of food in their bowl (compared to industrial kibble) without increasing their calorie intake.
We recommend serving our recipes at room temperature to your dog. However, you can absolutely lightly warm their meals in a water bath, microwave, or even in a pan if you prefer. Just ensure the food is not too hot before serving it to your furry friend.
At Kinpop Delights, our recipes are not prepared in factories but rather with care and love by our chefs in our laboratory in Menton in the Alpes-Maritimes. Our kitchen is equipped to adhere to the strictest hygiene standards. All our recipes consist of meat (Beef, Chicken, or Pork) and French-origin vegetables. Our oils (rapeseed and sunflower) come from organic farming. All our ingredients are meticulously prepared, vacuum-sealed, then cooked at low temperature (90°) before being cooled. This gentle cooking allows us to avoid adding preservatives, preserve the vitamins and nutrients of our food, and prevent any microbiological risks.
We include offal in our recipes because they are rich in vitamins and minerals, notably iron, copper, and vitamin B12. They also provide an excellent source of protein. Furthermore, we only work with offal of French origin, and to ensure optimal quality, we maintain very strict health monitoring, comparable to that of high-end restaurants.

Therefore, cereals can be beneficial for your dog’s health when used in moderate amounts and in conjunction with other nutrient sources. In our rations, their percentage is relatively low (about 8%).

In our recipes, you’ll find all the essential ingredients for your dog’s well-being and health, period! Our food is fresh, natural, rich in vitamins and minerals, and we don’t use preservatives or flavor enhancers. Naturally, you won’t find any questionable products or animal meals in our recipes. All our formulations are easy to understand, transparent, and above all, take care of your dog’s health.
All our dog recipes are formulated by an expert in canine nutrition. Macronutrients, minerals, vitamins… Our nutritionist has developed all our recipes to be complete, balanced, and to meet all your companion’s needs.
Our recipes are prepared in our laboratories in Menton without preservatives and arrive fresh at your home (without having been frozen). After delivery, you can store them in the refrigerator for 7 days and in the freezer for 3 months. To defrost a portion, simply warm it in a water bath or microwave, or place it in the refrigerator 24 hours before consumption. Once defrosted or opened, meals can be kept for a maximum of 3 days in the refrigerator.
For your vacations and/or travels, you can perfectly carry your dog’s meals. However, you’ll need to transport them in an insulated bag such as a cooler (which we provide) with a few ice packs to keep the food fresh throughout the journey.
